Blanket
Reaching through the fold down seat he pulled a blanket out of the trunk. It took a little struggling but he got it wrapped around himself. The night was cold and silent, the snow dropping from the sky in a lazy pattern. Overlooking the valley, he could see smoke and lights from the homes, warming the bodies of those who lived there. When the sun rose, the tranquil scene would be washed harsh, the sunlight doing little to warm the day. He would be going home then. And more than the light, his return would change things, for some, forever.

1-17-08: Blanket
Okay...I am back. Life took a turn since I last posted a prompt that left me...well..let's just say I couldn't get my head together. But I am back now and will try to get things online again for writing.
So, to get you going, the word for this week is blanket.
Remember the rules and I look forward to really getting this thing sailing again. Rough waters behind, smooth sailing ahead. Hold course, Cap'n.
Namaste.
